  2. Where are your services available? Telehealth services are available to patients located in states where our healthcare providers are appropriately licensed and authorized to practice. Because licensing requirements vary by state, availability may change as we expand.

  3. Do I have to live in the same state as my provider? No. However, you must generally be physically located in a state where your provider is authorized to practice at the time of your appointment. You may be asked to confirm your physical location at the beginning of your telehealth visit.

  4. How do telehealth appointments work? After scheduling your appointment, you will receive instructions for joining your virtual visit. At your appointment time, connect from a private location with a reliable internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone. Your provider will review your symptoms, medical history, medications, and other relevant information and develop an appropriate care plan.

  5. What conditions can be treated through telehealth? Many non-emergency concerns may be appropriate for telehealth, including: Cold, cough, and flu-like symptoms, Sinus concerns, Allergies, Minor skin conditions, Urinary symptoms, Minor gastrointestinal concerns, Medication follow-ups, Blood pressure and chronic condition follow-ups, General health concerns, Weight-management services when appropriate, Review of certain medical forms and documentation, Whether a condition can be safely treated through telehealth is determined by the healthcare provider.

  6. What if my condition cannot be treated virtually? Your provider may recommend an in-person examination, urgent care, emergency department evaluation, laboratory testing, imaging, or evaluation by another healthcare professional. Your safety comes first, and not every medical condition can be appropriately diagnosed or treated through telehealth.
